Bombshell: GFA Orders Asante Kotoko To Pay Gh¢32,000 To Former Coach Richard Manu In 14 Days Or Face Fanctions

The Players’ Status Committee (PSC) of the Ghana Football Association has instructed the Ghanaian giants to pay Gh¢32,000 to their former youth coach.

Ghana Premier League heavyweights Asante Kotoko have been ordered to pay the above-mentioned amount to the club’s former youth gaffer Richard Manu in the next fourteen (14) days to avoid further consequences.

Manu dragged the Porcupine Warriors to the Players’ Status Committee to seek justice over unpaid annual signing-on fees and salary arrears during his stint at Kumasi-based club.

Per the ruling from the PSC on June 2, Management of Asante Kotoko failed to respond to the case after two opportunities were handed to them by the committee resulting in a default judgement.

Manu was appointed as Asante Kotoko youth team coach on a five-year deal in 2019.
