Quick-witted Emmanuel Newton Quits GFA Job, Heads To Kotoko As An Administrative Manager
Renowned and shrewd football administrator, Emmanuel Newton Dasobiri, is set to be named as an Administrator for the ‘Reds’ following his resignation from the Ghana Football Association.
The former Deputy General Secretary for Ghana Football Association will soon be given the nod to become the new Administrator of the Porcupine Warriors due to his savvy encyclopedic knowledge in football.
Dasobiri is seen within the football arena as one of the most promising fast-growing young people who will definitely push the club forward.
Dasoberi until his resignation, has served at the GFA for close to ten years and was working as Club Licensing Manager for the GFA.
Emmanuel Newton Dasobiri has been linked to the Asante Kotoko job for months, with new club CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah reportedly keen to work with the enterprising Administrator.
With over 8 years experience working as a football administrator, the 38 year of Dasoberi has served in many capacities at the Association, including being Administrator at the Football Association’s Technical Centre at Prampram, serving on the Premier League Board and also serving as Secretary to the Disciplinary Committee and Appeals Committee of the GFA.
Dasoberi studied Sports and Event Management at the University of Witwatersrand and holds an MBA from the International Business Management Institute.
He has served as a CAF Instructor for over three years and has undertaken other assignments with CAF as an Inspector.
