Ibrahim Danlad Opens Up On His Next Move
Former National U-17 goalkeeper, Ibrahim Danlad, has revealed that he is willing to go on loan again if Kotoko deems it appropriate.
The Asante Kotoko SC young goalkeeper finished his loan spell when the League was cancelled due to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease after displaying momentous performance for Berekum Chelsea.
Danlad has received plaudits from football fanatics after keeping fourteen (14) matches with five (5) clean sheets.
Though he is brimming in confidence, he thinks that choosing another team will give him an impeccable platform to prepare him fully before he returns to compete for a position at the club’s goalkeeping department.
Detailing his next move and the benefits of the loan spell to Opemsuo.com reporter, Sasu Danquah, he said, “Loan spell with Berekum Chelsea has really been helpful because it provided me with a lot of experience to enrich my career.”
“As a young player who want to really make impact in football, it will be better for me to get playing time and because of that I think going on loan again will be of help.”
He disclosed further that his manager will meet the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko to take the decision together as to the team he will play for next season.
“My manager will discuss with Kotoko management to see where I will play next season whether I will stay or not.”
The National U-20 goalkeeper have Felix Annan and Kwame Baah to beat before he can take full charge over Kotoko’s poles.
