March 31, April 1 Declared Holidays

The longest weekend awaits Ghanaians as President John Dramani Mahama by Executive Instrument has declared next Monday and Tuesday as statutory public holidays.
The holidays are in celebration of ๐๐ข๐-๐๐ฅ-๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ซ.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Interior over the weekend confirmed.
โThe general public is hereby informed that ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก, ๐๐๐๐ or ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก, ๐๐๐๐ marks ๐๐ข๐-๐๐ฅ-๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ซ which is a Statutory Public Holiday.โ
It furthered that the holiday has been extended to Tuesday as it falls on a weekend.
โIn of the fact that 30th March 2025 falls on a Sunday and in the interest of the public, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana, has by Executive Instrument (E.I.), in accordance with Section 2 of the Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act (Act 601) declared Monday, 31st March 2025 and Tuesday, 1st April 2025 as additional Public Holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.โ
