I Have No Hand In Fraudulent Mahama Portrait Framing Contract Demand- Dep Chief of Staff
The Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Presidency, Stan Xoese Dogbe, has distanced himself from the demand for contracts for the framing of the Presidential portrait by a “fraudster”.
In a statement issued on January 28, 2025, he said his attention had been drawn to the said suspect who has been hawking from Ministries, departments and agencies with his name in demand for contracts.
“My attention has been drawn to a fraudster, by the name of Samuel Tetteh, roaming various ministries, departments and agencies, using my name to demand contracts for the printing and framing of the president’s portrait.”
The suspect, he said, has since been reported to the police for action.
“I have reported to the security agencies for his immediate arrest.”
Meanwhile, Dogbe has urged Ministries, agencies and departments where the suspects will show up to promptly contact the police.
“Should he appear in your office, kindly alert me or the nearest police station immediately.”
It can be recalled that after the unveiling of the official portrait of the President, it was noted that no contract would be awarded to an organization or individual for mass production and distribution.
