Kofi Adomah Has Suffered a Life-threatening Injury after Shooting; ABN Confirms
Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) has confirmed the head of their news department, Kofi Adomah has sustained a life-threatening injury.
The broadcaster was shot in the face while covering an event at Dormaa in December 2024. The news of the incident went viral only a few days ago.
In a statement, the media network said Kofi was “indisposed and has been hospitalized”.
“The renowned broadcaster has suffered a life-threatening injury after being shot in the face. The dastardly act occurred in Dormaa Ahenkro during his coverage of the Kwafie Festival in December 2024.”
The statement further disclosed that Angel FM’s management had obtained exclusive footage of the unfortunate incident and the persons behind the act and would air it today.
“The videos will air for the first time on the Angel Morning show on Wednesday, 22nd January 2025, particularly to clear the misinformation and controversy surrounding the incident.”
It added, “We wish Kofi the best in his recovery and ask for prayers for him and his family during these difficult times.”
Following heightened concerns about the broadcaster, his wife issued a brief statement saying he was stable.
In a subsequent video on social media, she confirmed that it was not an accident as some had perceived but a deliberate act to hurt her husband.
She promised to release footage of the incident at the right time.
