Ancelotti Denies Decision to Leave Madrid
The Manager of La Liga side Carlo Ancelotti says he has not decided to leave Real Madrid.
It follows a report by OndaCero that the gaffer had informed the club owners of a decision to leave at the end of the season.
But Ancelotti has come out to debunk the report.
“I’ve absolutely NOT decided to leave Real Madrid.”
On the contrary, he intends to spend four more years, ending his tenure in 2029.
“I hope to stay for FOUR more years, same as Florentino Pérez,” he disclosed, adding, “That would be perfect in order to do a BIG FAREWELL TOGETHER in 2029!”
The 65-year-old has had a successful stint with the La Liga side which spans two successful Leagues, two Champions Leagues, one Copa del Rey, European and Spanish Super Cups, and the Club World Cup.
In 2022, Ancelotti said he would retire if he left Real Madrid.
The Spanish club is currently leading the league table with 46 points.
