Ancelotti Has Decided Not to Continue at Madrid Next Season- Reports

It has been reported that Carlo Ancelotti will not carry on with his mandate at Real Madrid at the end of this season.

OndaCero reports that the decision was made by the Italian Manager who will be left with one more year on contract at the end of this season.

He is therefore expected to leave the club this summer.

According to the news site, Madrid is demanding the 65-year-old fulfils his contract.

It reports that “even if the season ends with titles and the club insists on fulfilling his contract, he wants to close his time at Real Madrid this summer. Ancelotti enjoys every day at the club to the fullest, he returned excited and in the capital of Spain he has found full happiness, but he also feels that this second stage on the Chamartín bench will end in the summer, whatever happens.”

It follows his successful stint with the La Liga side which spans from two successful Leagues, two Champions Leagues, one Copa del Rey, European and Spanish Super Cups, Club World Cup.

In 2022, Ancelotti said he would retire if he leaves Real Madrid.

The Spanish club is currently leading the league table with 46 points.
