Registration of Members of 9th Parliament Set For Today
The Parliamentary Service has announced the registration of members of the ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, elected Members of Parliaments begin the online registration process on Wednesday before in-person registration- which begins on January 2 and ends on January 6.
“The Parliament of Ghana wishes to inform all Members elected to the 9th Parliament of the 4th Republic, that registration will commence on Wednesday, 25th December 2024. The exercise will start with online registration.
“Targeted messages inviting members will be sent to members elect via WhatsApp or emails. Physical registration will start on Thursday 2nd January 2025 and end on 6th January 2025.”
Subsequent to this will be the election of Speaker by members-elect on January 6, 2025, at 11pm and the Swearing-in of the Speaker-elect and Members-elect at 12 midnight.
