Asante Kotoko Assistant coach, David Ocloo has left his role at the club.
This was confirmed in a brief statement issued on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, by the Porcupines.
“We can confirm that David Dickson Ocloo has left his role as first assistant coach.”
The reason behind his departure was however not communicated.
The club thanked the gaffer for his contribution to their success.
“The club would like to thank David for his contributions to the team and wish him the very best for his future.”
The former Hearts of Oak coach rejoined Kotoko ahead of the 2023–2024 seasons when the Patron of the Club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, dissolved the club’s Board of Directors and caused some reviews in the administration.
At the time, Ocloo was appointed to the club as a member of the technical team at the recommendation of Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum who had been reappointed as Head Coach by His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
