C/R: 4 Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Agenda 111 Construction Materials

The police have arrested four individuals for allegedly stealing construction materials for the Awutu Bereku Agenda 111 hospital in the Central Region.

They were arrested with the help of community members on Wednesday, December 10, 2024, while transporting the materials in a truck with registration number GT 8715-Z.

“Police investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly contracted by project contractor to transport the materials from the Agenda 111 project site to Tema,” according to a statement by the Ghana Police Service.

They are in police custody assisting in investigations and being processed for court.

Additionally, a manhunt has been launched for the said contractor.

So far, the number of arrests effected over post-election violence and crimes has risen to 110.
