Addressing the graduands at the event on November 30, 2024, Otumfuo patted them for their hard work, resilience and dedication as he expressed his confidence in them.
“You the graduating class of 2024 stand ready to make an impact in Ghana, in Africa and around the world. As your chancellor, I’m confident in your potential to achieve greatness and to make a positive impact on the world stage.”
The Chancellor urged them to put into practice all virtues they learnt in the course of their years in the school.
“I urge you to carry forward the values you have acquired in your time from this university. Integrity, humility, compassion and service are the marks of success. Use these values as your compass, guiding your actions and decisions in all that you do. Remember that your success is not measured by personal achievements alone but by the positive impact you make in the lives of others. Be of service to your communities, and those in need and strive to make a lasting impact.”
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor, Prof Mrs Akosua Dickson prayed for them saying, “May the good Lord be your guide every step of the way and may the almighty God make his face shine upon you and be gracious onto you and give you his face now and always.”
She further encouraged them to confidently face all hurdles head-on as they are opportunities in disguise.
“My dear graduands, you have indeed fought the good fight and today, we are here to celebrate your achievements over the past years. Please be reminded that you are a lifelong learner and your success today marks the beginning of a new chapter in your lives and a testament to the fact that you are capable and able to do whatever you determine to accomplish. Let nothing stop you, not even yourselves. Remember opportunities more than not come dressed as challenges so take them boldly and decisively to unravel your fullest potential.”
