Police Go After Lapaz Forex Bureau Robbers

The police have launched a manhunt for armed robbers who stormed a Forex Bureau at Lapaz in the Greater Accra Region.

In a statement, the police said their “swift response” to the scene “thwarted” the suspects’ attempt to carry out the robbery.

“The Police are on a manhunt for two robbery suspects who attempted to attack a Forex Bureau at Lapaz in Accra,” it said assuring the public the two armed robbers would soon be nabbed.

Reports indicate that two robbers entered the Raman Forex Bureau with guns on Friday, November 22 demanding money.

Some eyewitnesses are said to have locked the door to the bureau from outside, trapping both the robbers and the workers within; however, on the arrival of the police, only the workers were found inside.
