We’re Going to Work Harder; Ogum Promises Fans

Prosper Narteh Ogum has pledged to invest in hard work to turn things around at Asante Kotoko.

It comes after the club suffered three straight losses throwing them from the second place on the league log to the sixth with 15 points after ten games.

The third defeat was handed by Bechem United on Sunday when a sensational goal by Kofi Tompuo contending for goal of the season, extended their winless stint.

At a presser, Dr Ogum acknowledged the implication of the results and committed himself to reviewing the recurring mistakes and working to correct them.

“We are going to work harder. We will look at the recurring errors,” he said.

“It’s not good but then the most important thing is that we can work on it and turn the results in our favour,” he assured the press at Bechem.

Fans of Kotoko have not hidden their anger and frustration over the recent outcomes. It appears their patience with the coach is gradually draining.

They have given the coach their next game to redeem himself.

Dr Ogum’s side will next face second-placed Nations FC.
