EC Certifies 2 Newly Registered Political Parties

The number of registered and certified political parties in Ghana has risen to 14 after the Electoral Commission (EC) presented certificates to two newly registered parties.

They are the United 1 Ghana and Action Alliance Party.

“Two newly-registered political parties {on October 2, 2024} received their Certificates from the Electoral Commission,” the EC announced on its Facebook page.

Madam Margaret O’Brien Sarfo, an Interim Executive Member, received the certificate on behalf of United 1 Ghana, while Mr. Namuru Tahiru, the founder of the party, received the certificate on behalf of Action Alliance Party.

United 1 Ghana was founded by Kwame Asiedu Walker.
