Tanoso and Kwamang Cases Will Be Addressed Soon- Asantehene
The Head of the Asanteman Council, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has provided assurances for an amicable resolution of the Tanoso and Kwamang Stool disputes.
These cases have been rescheduled on numerous occasions whenever they are listed on the agenda of the Council due to the time factor.
Addressing parties of the two cases when the Council convened on August 26, 2024, the Occupant of the Golden Stool appreciated their patience.
He promised to give their cases his attention when called on the next meeting.
“I want peace at Tanoso. Shun all forms of disturbances. Time is far spent today. Your case is bothers on royalty and so requires attention. All parties in the dispute must exercise patience. I will definitely look at your case the next time it is called.”
His Majesty also committed himself to visiting the town after the dispute is resolved.
The same message went out to parties in the Kwamang dispute.
The Asanteman Council spent Monday looking into pending cases including Berekum stool affairs, Duayaw Nkwanta, Awua Duamse, Sabronum and Denyaasee.
