Some Appointees Have Lost Touch with Base- Kodua Frimpong
The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong has realized that some officials of his party have gone to sleep at the expense of their duties with the base.
This conclusion was formed after the first day of his two-day tour to the Bono Region which ended over the weekend.
He has therefore charged them to be up and doing.
“Feedback from my tour of the Bono Region shows that some appointees have lost touch with their base. Don’t force me to start mentioning names; do the needful,” he said in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
During his tour, he met with the Regional Communications Team and visited Jaman South, Berekum East, and Berekum West.
He also met Col. Kwaku Damoah, their 2024 Parliamentary candidate for the Jaman South Seat and Former MP Hon. Yaw Afful.
“Had a productive meeting in Drobo with Col. Kwaku Damoah and Former MP Hon. Yaw Afful. We discussed strategies to recapture the seat from NDC, resolved key issues, and affirmed our unwavering support for each other and the Jaman South constituency.”
From the meeting, he could tell that “stakeholders are united and determined to win seats and votes on Dec 7”.
