Hearts Begin Preseason Training Today

Accra Hearts of Oak led by their head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara will start their preseason training activities today, Friday, August 2, 2024.

They are expected to convene at the Kpobiman Sports Complex in Accra later in the day for training after taking up rest from the previous season and their last game against Asante Kotoko in the Democracy Cup.

A part of a statement released by the club on Friday indicated that the team is eager to shake off and refocus on the upcoming 2024/25 season.

“After a few weeks of well-deserved rest, players of Accra Hearts of Oak have regrouped today, August 2, 2024, to commence their pre-season activities. The team is eager to shake off and refocus on the upcoming 2024/25 season.”

Coach Ouattara is certain that with discipline on the part of the team, the desired results will be realized in the next season which begins on September 6.

 

“This season, we must be disciplined both on and off the field,” he asserted in a conversation with the Club’s media.

“Our success will be built on hard work, respect, and commitment to each other…Pre-season is just the beginning. The true measure of our discipline and hard work will be seen throughout the season. Let’s stay focused.”

Hearts will open the next season with a game against Premier League debutantes, Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
