Stop Filming Our Training Sessions Without Consent; Kotoko Warn

The Asante Kotoko Sporting Club have issued a stern warning to the public and the media against putting their training sessions and facilities under the lense without official authorization from the club.

A statement issued by the club on Thursday, August 1, 2024, noted that persons who flout this order will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

“Asante Kotoko SC hereby issues a formal warning regarding the unauthorized filming of official training sessions for both our senior and junior men’s teams, as well as activities under THE KING’S PROJECT. We categorically demand that all media houses and individuals engaging in this unauthorized activity cease and desist immediately.”

Individuals or media houses who intend to film their training sessions are to submit an official request to the club for prior approval.

“Be advised that the club will not hesitate to explore all available legal avenues against any individuals or media entities found in violation of this directive,” it warned.

As a way of enhancing their partnership with the media, Kototo intend to host an official Media Open Day before the commencement of the 2024/2025 football season and periodically throughout the season to disseminate all needed information.
