I’m Not Married- Vivian Jill Clarifies

Ghanaian actress Vivian Jill Lawrence has disputed reports that she has tied the knot with her colleague in the industry, Don Kingsley Yamoah.

Reacting to the widely circulated pictures and videos of the two in a traditional marriage ceremony, she said it was all part of her movie series “Yaa Basabasa”.

“Some videos have been circulating on social media a few days now with some alleging I’m married and others disputing. I’m sorry I didn’t come out to clarify earlier. I thought people will decode it was a movie and aside that I was quite occupied,” she said in a video.

“I am not married. It is my series called Yaa Basabasa. The marriage is ending the story.”

The Kumawood actress in the video said her commitment to her profession made the videos and footage look real and thereby the misconception.

“Anyone who knows me know when I set my mind to do something I do it give my all to it.”

She further apologized to Ghanaians saying, “Whoever has been affected by this should forgive me. I don’t want anyone to think I’m playing with his or her heart or mind. Please find a place in your heart to forgive me. It’s part of the Yaa Basabasa Series.”
