Shatta Wale Isn’t on X- Management

The Management of dancehall artiste Shatta Wale says the musician is no longer on the microblogging app X, formerly known as Twitter.

As such, the team indicated that all accounts on the app issuing posts with his username are either fake or parody accounts.

The statement follows the circulation of some posts on X purportedly from the artiste over the recent scuffle between Medikal and his now–estranged wife, Fella Makafui.

The said posts carry vicious attacks and derogatory comments against Fella.

In reaction, the Management of Shatta Wale noted, “We wish to inform the public and the media that the renowned artist Shatta Wale is no longer using the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. Any accounts currently posting under his name are fake, run by imposters, or are parody accounts.”

“This is not a new development; Shatta Wale himself has publicly announced his departure from the platform on multiple occasions. Despite these clear statements, it has come to our attention that misleading accounts continue to operate, falsely representing Shatta Wale.”

It added that despite reporting to the relevant authorities of X, the activities of these faceless culprits persist.

It, therefore, urged all fans, followers, and media outlets to disregard the said content.

“Shatta Wale’s official communications will be disseminated through verified channels only.”
