New Force Announces Regional Tour
The founder of the New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Asare Bediako has announced a planned regional tour across the country in the quest to sell his campaign message and win the upcoming presidential election.
He intends to reach stakeholders and ordinary Ghanaians and interact with them in what he calls, “16 Regional Listening Tour”.
Though the date for the tour is yet to be communicated, in a prerecorded video posted on his New Force Twitter page, he stated, “Wherever you are, I’m coming to you.”
He is expected to host town hall discussions to meet, interact and listen directly to the citizens to give him a better understanding and appreciate their expectations and needs.
“I decided to come to you and I decided to be a part of your culture. I want to listen to you and I want you to tell me your problems. I want to tell my story and what has necessitated my decision and why this decision has demanded you to ask me questions, because you are very important to me and that is what this journey is about.”
In more than five Ghanaian languages, he announced his tour and added, “My name is Nana Kwame Asare Bediako, the founder of the New Force and the leader you have been waiting for.”
A similar tour is being undertaken by the leader of the Movement for Change and former Trades Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen. He has already been to the Ashanti Region, Greater Accra Region and now heads to the Volta Region.
Also known as Cheddar, Nana Asare Bediako announced his intention to run for presidency through masked billboards along principal streets in Ghana with a promise of “leadership”.
However, the face behind the mask was only revealed in January during a scheduled Pan-African event at the Black Star Square which was called off at the last minute by the Office of the President.
