GMet Announces Rain In Parts Of Ghana
The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has forecasted rain this afternoon and later in the evening.
In its forecast, it said rain will result from convective clouds formed in some coastal and inland areas of the country.
The effect will be evident in the southern part of Ghana, it said in a post on X.
“Convective clouds have formed over some coastal and inland areas. These clouds are producing localised rain and thunder within portions of southern Ghana. More areas in the south will be affected this afternoon into the evening.”
It, however, noted that the rains will have a short duration.
Thunderstorms and rain are expected in Kumasi, Accra Kasoa, Sefwi Bekwai, Goaso, Sunyani, Cape Coast and Obuasi in the evening after a sunny afternoon.
Meanwhile, Yendi, Tamale, Bole, Yendi, Damongo, Bolgatanga, Nalerigu and Wa will experience dry or slightly hazy weather throughout the day.
