Purchase Adequate Prepaid credits For Festive Season- ECG

The Electricity Company of Ghana has advised its prepaid customers to stock adequate electricity credits ahead of the Christmas break.

The offices of the Company across the country will be closed for three days, it prompted in a public notice.

“The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) wishes to inform our cherished customers and the general public that, in observance of the statutory public holidays during the Christmas and New Year seasons, our offices will not be opened for business as follows: • Monday, 25th, December 2023 • Tuesday, 26th December 2023 • Monday, 1st January 2024.”

Though it said customers can access their services on their digital platforms, it said it will be convenient for prepaid users to stock up on adequate electricity to carry them through the festive season.

“Customers and the general public can access our services through our digital platforms, i.e. ECG Mobile App, and shortcode *226#, or visit their nearest vending point.

“Prepaid customers are advised to purchase enough electricity credits to carry them through the Christmas and New Year holidays.”
