Nania FC Kick Phobians Out Of FA Cup
Division One side Nania FC on Wednesday knocked out league players Accra Hearts of Oak from the MTN FA Cup.
The lower-tier side advanced to the next round after a stalemate called for penalties at the Kpobiman Sports Complex.
Nania subsequently won by 4-3 on penalties.
Videos from scenes after the game showed some fans booing the Hearts of Oak players and their technical team as they made their way to the bus.
In other round of 64 games on Wednesday, Steadfast FC held Karela FC to a 3-2 victory, Kotoku Royals lost by 1-0 to Swedru All Black FC, demoted Kotoku Royals lost on 3-2 penalty kicks to Young Apostles FC while Berekum City pipped Techiman Liberty Youth FC 3-0.
Division One Club Sky FC knocked out FC Samartex with a 2-0 scoreline with Bofoakwa Tano and Berekum Chelsea putting their seniority on show against Sunyani Oxford FC and Aduana FC respectively
Meanwhile, Benab FC succumbed in 1-4 penalty kicks to Akwaboso Young Madrid with Hilla Stars FC holding Wa Power FC to a 1-0 victory.
