Bole-Sawla Road Opened After Temporary Repairs

The Ministry of Roads and Highways has announced the opening of the Bole-Sawla highway in the Savannah region.

This follows temporary repair works on the portion of the road which was washed off by rain water two weeks ago.

“The Bole Sawla road has temporarily been opened to traffic today, 28th September 2023,” the Ministry said on their official X account on Thursday.

It however warned that only small vehicles, tricycle and pedestrian can use the road.

It added, “Motorists are advised to drive with caution on the stretch and follow safety measures put in place.”

The temporary repair works comes after motorists implored the government to fix the road after delays in its construction which stressed out motorists.

Meanwhile, motorists from Wenchi to Wa were to use the new Longoro to Kintampo Road on the N10.
