Bolted Dangotey Arrested After Gun Threat At Football Match Venue
The remaining suspect in the gun-threatening incidents at a football match venue in Kpando in the Volta region has been nabbed by the police.
His arrest was announced a day after the incident which happened on June 4 was made privy to the public in a statement by the Police.
Selorm Buta alias Dangotey, together with Kofi Godsway, were at the football match venue when they pulled guns and threatened harm for reasons not yet known.
According to the police, they unlawfully possessed the firearms without lawful authority.
The arrest of Godsway was announced on June 12 in a statement which said Dangotey was at large.
But hours later, another statement was released announcing his arrest.
“The suspect is in custody and will be put before the court to face justice,” it said.
