Otumfuo Foundation Supports Prempeh College Robotics Team
The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation has presented a cheque of seventeen thousand, five hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC 17, 500.00) to the Prempeh College Robotics Club.
The donation is to cater for the feeding cost of the team comprising two teachers and seven students who are scheduled to travel to Lawrence Technology University, Michigan in the USA. The team is to represent the club in this year’s robotics competition at the international level to be held from 11th to 13th of May 2023.
In making the presentation, the Board Chairman of the Foundation and Otumfuo’s Hiahene, Nana Prof Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, advised the students to go and exhibit the best of what they have learnt and make the nation proud.
He also advised parents to invest in their children to secure a brighter future for them and donated some money to motivate the team.
Speaking to Opemsuo News, the Assistant Headmaster of Prempeh College in charge of Accademics, Mr. James Owusu Achiaw expressed gratitude on behalf of the school to the foundation.
