Denyase Paramount Queen Commissions Ultramodern School Complex

Nana Adutwumwaa Bonin III, Paramount Queen of the Denyase Traditional Area, has fulfilled one of her long standing desires with the commissioning of an ultramodern school complex; Denyaseman Village Pre-School Complex.

It has remained a dream since June 1989 when she was enstooled the Queen of the area. She has desired to offer her people access to quality education and the establishment of a factory to provide employment opportunities for her people.

“I had this dream right from my enstoolment on 5th June 1989 to establish a school for the children and also set up a factory to provide employment opportunities for my people”, she told Opemsuo News in an interview.

The Denyaseman Village Pre-School is an ultramodern school complex established for pre-school going children located at Denyase in the Denyase Traditional Area established by Nana Adutwumwaa Bonin III through the support of some trustees.

Nana Adutwumwaa had wished an admission free for all children because she wants her children to gain a solid foundation for their education. It was however objected by the trustees who suggested a token is taken from parents/guardians for management of the school whiles they absorb other expenditures.

“I am aware of the hardship and the struggles of parents in areas such as mine. So I specially built this school to offer an opportunity for parents who are mostly farmers to also take their children to a high standard school”.

Earlier, I wanted make it free for the parents but my trustees thought otherwise because we have to consider maintenance and other factors so I agreed and we settled on a token as fees to take care of those expenditures”, she indicated.

With respect to security and quality, Nana Adutwumwaa assured parents and guardians of the safety of their children. “As for security, parents should not worry at all because we have installed CCTV to check on all the children in addition to the presents of a security officer”, she assured.

She was emphatic that the newly commissioned Denyaseman Village Pre-School Complex is ready to offer a God centered quality education consistent with British standard to it’s students at the lowest cost.
