8 Sustain Serious Injuries In Accident At Gomoa Odumase

At least 8 persons have sustained various degrees of injuries following a car crash at Gomoa Odumase in the Central region yesterday.

The accident involved a commercial vehicle with registration number GR 5821-21 which had loaded passengers from Kasoa and was heading toward Cape Coast.

Reports indicate that the vehicle had one of its tyres burst and then crashed into a tree at Gomoa Odumase.

Witnesses report that the vehicle was speeding when the accident occured.

The vehicle had at least 15 passengers onboard when the accident occurred around late noon.

The victims were rushed to the St Luke Catholic Hospital in Apam.

The driver of the vehicle is reported to have sustained a minor cut on his head.
