King Charles Coronation Slated For 2023

The British Monarch, King Charles III will be officially crowned King on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

This was relayed by Buckingham Palace in a statement.

It will take place at Westminster Abbey in London.

It will be conducted by Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

The King’s coronation will be done alongside The Queen Consort, Camilla.

The Palace says further details will be communicated in due course.

King Charles III ascended the throne immediately after Queen Elizabeth II died in September.

Ahead of her death, doctors of the 96-year-old monarch said they were concerned for her health.

She died at exactly 1510 hours at Balmoral Castle.

Her death certificates confirmed she died of old age.
