7 Suspects Arrested For Illegal Refurbishing Of Gas Cylinders

The National Petroleum Authority ( NPA), Ghana National Fire Service ( GNFS) and the Ghana Police Service ( GPS) in a collaboratory effort have arrested seven suspects known to be illegally refurbishing gas cylinders.

The service personnel were tipped off that some people when refurbishing damaged cylinders and re-introducing them back to the market. Thus, creating a small factory for their activities.

The arrest was carried out at their illegal factory in Makola, Accra.

Suspects are now in police custody as the damaged and refurbished cylinders are been taken away by the authorities.
