Akufo-Addo Undertakes Reshuffling In National Security, NIB
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has reshuffled four of his appointees in the National Security and National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
In a statement from the Director-General at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin, the news about the reassignment was relayed.
The release stated that from August 8, 2022, Edward Asomani, the current deputy National Security Coordinator will take on the role of National Security Cordinator.
While the Francis Adu-Amanfoh, the current National Security Coordinator has been reassigned as the Special Advisor to the President for the Accra Initiative.
In the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), the deputy Director-General for the Bureau, Nana Attobrah Quaicoe, will take on the position of the Director-General from Kwaku Domfeh.
Meanwhile, Kwaku Domfeh has been reassigned as Ambassador-designate to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Their reappointments also take effect on August 8, 2022.
