99 Female Nsawam Inmates Graduate from Bible School

Ninety-nine inmates from the Nsawam Female Prison have graduated from bible school.

Their graduation was held at the Prison in collaboration with Safe Haven Rehabilitation Centre and Christ Embassy on March 21, 2026, following their theological studies. The programme was aimed at promoting spiritual growth and moral reformation among inmates as part of the rehabilitation process under the Think Prisons 360 Degrees Initiative.

Of the total graduates, 53 were awarded with Foundation School Certificates, 23 with Diploma Certificate of International Discipleship and 23 with Certificates of International Discipleship.

Rev. Dr Odartey Mills of Safe Haven and Deacon Joyce Hommey of Christ Embassy encouraged the graduates to uphold the values and teachings acquired through the programme and to serve as positive role models to other inmates.

At the end of the ceremony, a buffet was organised for the inmates. Various meals, including jollof rice, kenkey with fried fish and shito were served, creating an atmosphere of celebration and fellowship among the inmates.

The programme highlights the commitment of the station in partnership with faith-based organisations to support the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates in line with the objectives of the Think Prisons 360 Degrees Initiative.
