738 Compressed Suspected Cannabis Busted at Swiss Port

A consignment of suspected cannabis has been intercepted at the Swiss Port in Ghana’s capital.

The discovery by the Narcotic Control Commission came on June 4, 2025.

The 738 compressed parcels were hidden in 40 boxes labelled as “assorted” food items bound for the United Kingdom (UK).

The substances have since been seized while two suspects are in police custody assisting in the ongoing investigation.

Meanwhile, a manhunt has been launched for two other suspects.
