3 Suspects Arrested For Kwabenya Robbery

The Ghana Police Service, through the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit, has arrested three suspects in connection with a robbery at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.
According to a police statement, two armed robbers attacked a home in Kwabenya on January 18, 2026, stealing two iPhone 17 Pro Max mobile phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GH¢14,000.00 in cash, a car key, and US$300.
The robbers also forced the victim to log out of his iCloud account from one of the stolen phones.
The suspects, identified as Francis Amo and Anthony Boateng, have allegedly admitted to their involvement in the crime following their arrest.
A third suspect, believed to be a receiver identified as Musah Ibrahim, has also been arrested.
Items recovered included one iPhone 17 Pro Max, one Apple Watch, and one Samsung Fold phone.
Further search at suspect Anthony Boateng’s residence led to the discovery of offensive weapons, including a truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.
“The suspects are currently in police custody, assisting investigations, while efforts are ongoing to retrieve the remaining stolen items and arrest any other persons connected to the crime,” the police confirmed.
