Sudden Adverse Weather Cited for Severe Turbulence On PassionAir Kumasi-Accra Flight

PassionAir says sudden adverse weather conditions were responsible for severe turbulence on its Flight OP 149 en route from Kumasi to Accra on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, 4th November 2026, the airline attributed the incident to the sudden change in weather encountered during the flight.
“On Tuesday, 3 November 2026, PassionAir flight OP 149, operating from Kumasi to Accra, encountered severe turbulence en route due to sudden adverse weather conditions,” the statement said.
