They have been urged to avoid leaving cash unattended in vehicles.

The caution was contained in a press statement issued on November 3, 2026, after an IGP’s Special Team arrested three suspected members of a syndicate targeting customers who withdraw large sums.

Two of the arrested suspects were identified as Nigerian nationals- Aboy Promise, 30, and Favour Uwalaka, 45- who were apprehended at a hotel at Moshie Zongo at about 11:30 pm30pm on 31st October, 2026.
