GES Opens Portal For Re-Posting of Staff Returning From Study Leave With Pay

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the re-posting exercise for staff who returned from study leave with pay.

In a circular dated October 12, 2026, and signed by the Deputy Director-General (Management Services), Prof. Smile Dzisi (Mrs.), for the Director-General, all Regional Directors have been directed to notify affected staff within their respective regions.

The directive applies to all staff who were granted study leave with pay and successfully completed their programmes of study in 2025.

According to the statement, qualified staff are required to apply for re-posting via the link https://bit.ly/STUDYLEAVERETURN2026

The application period starts on Monday, October 12, and ends on Monday, October 26, 2026.

Management said it counts on the usual support and cooperation of Regional Directors to ensure a smooth exercise.
