The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has visited Ghanaian fashion personality Nana Akua Addo and her family following reports of alleged domestic abuse.

During the visit, the Minister interacted with the family and assured them of the Ministry’s continued support and assistance as they deal with the situation.

Dr Lartey assured the family, particularly Nana Akua and the children, of the Ministry’s commitment to providing the needed support, while working with the Police and other relevant institutions to safeguard their well-being, safety and dignity and ensure that due process is followed.
