GMTF, HeFRA Explore Strategic Partnership To Strengthen Healthcare Delivery

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund (GMTF) and the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) are exploring a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening healthcare regulation and delivery in the country.
The proposed collaboration will focus on infrastructure development, medical equipment, facility monitoring and technical support to ensure that healthcare investments translate into improved patient outcomes.
HeFRA Registrar, Dr Winfred Korletey Baah, described the GMTF as a “game changer” for Ghana’s health sector, noting that the Fund’s interventions will significantly enhance the quality of healthcare services.
For her part, the Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adjoa Obuobia Darko-Opoku, stressed the importance of partnerships in sustaining healthcare investments and ensuring accountability in the delivery of services.
The two institutions say the partnership will contribute to building a stronger, more efficient and better-regulated healthcare system for all Ghanaians.
