U.S. Embassy ot Hold Citizen Outreach in Kumasi on October 1
The U.S. Embassy in Ghana will hold a special outreach for American citizens in Kumasi on October 1, 2026.
The event, to be led by the Embassy’s American Citizen Services (ACS) team, will take place at the American Corner inside the Top Martins Complex at Asokwa.
According to the Embassy, the outreach is open to U.S. citizens aged 18 and above with a valid U.S. passport, and registration is required by September 29, 2026, via https://bit.ly/ACSKumasiTownHall26.
The programme will begin with a Town Hall from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., where participants will be briefed on ACS services and how to get involved with the Citizen Liaison Volunteer (CLV) program.
This will be followed by walk-in hours from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., which will not require an appointment.
During the walk-in session, citizens can drop off completed Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) absentee ballots, submit adult passport renewal applications (Form DS-82), learn about becoming a Citizen Liaison Volunteer, and ask questions about ACS services.
The Embassy encouraged U.S. citizens planning to vote in the midterms to register or request absentee ballots at fvap.gov.
