Asante Kotoko Restricts Supporters and Media Access to Training Sessions
Asante Kotoko’s Communication Department has issued a public statement to relevant stakeholders regarding access to the club’s training facility, the Adako Jachie Training Complex.
Kotoko’s new managerial structure has strengthened efforts to improve the club’s operational standards and prepare for the 2026/27 season, which begins with a game against newcomers Debibi United at Berekum Golden City Park.
“As part of efforts to improve the club’s operational standards and support the Technical Team’s preparations, Asante Kotoko has introduced new guidelines on access to training sessions at Adako Jachie.”
The statement emphasised that unauthorised individuals, supporters and media personnel must refrain from attending training sessions during the three days preceding every competitive match.
“Effective immediately, supporters, media representatives and all unauthorised individuals will not be permitted to attend training sessions during the three days preceding every competitive match.”
The new guidelines are designed to ensure the Technical Team has a private and uninterrupted environment for tactical planning.
“This measure is intended to give the Technical Team a private and uninterrupted environment for tactical preparations and to prevent unauthorised recording of strategic sessions.”
Supporters of Asante Kotoko and members of the media will continue to have the opportunity to observe training sessions outside the three-day period preceding competitive matches.
“The Club remains committed to maintaining a strong relationship with the media and will organise periodic Media Open Days to provide journalists with opportunities to interact with players and club officials,” it added.
