NSA Disowns Viral Flyer On Validation Fees For Service Personnel

The National Service Authority (NSA) has disowned a press release circulating on social media purporting to outline approved validation and office management fees for National Service Personnel.
The flyer, which bears the Authority’s letterhead and the signature of the Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, claimed that all National Service Personnel are to pay Fifty Ghana Cedis (GH¢50.00) for validation under any circumstances, and that an additional Ten Ghana Cedis (GH¢10.00) shall be collected from personnel under the SUBVENTED category by District Managers.
The document, dated September 1, 2026, and with reference number NSA/20/09/-26, further claimed the directive takes effect on November 2.
The Authority has stamped the document as “FAKE”, warning service personnel and the public to disregard its contents.
The NSA has consistently cautioned personnel against making unauthorised payments and urged that any official communication on fees or validation should only be accessed through its official website and verified social media channels.
Personnel are advised not to make any payments outside approved official channels and to report any individual demanding money for validation or posting to the Authority or the nearest security agency.
