NSA Announces Final Window For Rectification Of Biodata Mismatch
The Management of the National Service Authority (NSA) has announced a final window for students with discrepancies between their biodata and institutional records to have their records regularised.
In a press release dated September 2, 2026, the Authority said students who have discrepancies between their biodata and their institutional records, and who have already commenced the process of resolving such discrepancies, are encouraged to complete the process to have their records duly regularised.
Students who have begun the process and still require assistance in getting their school records to align with their Ghana Card details, and are in possession of all relevant supporting documents, are to visit the National Service Authority Headquarters and NSA Kumasi Regional Office from Wednesday, September 3, 2026, to Friday, September 5, 2026, to complete the necessary processes and have their issues duly addressed.
The Authority also encouraged schools and educational institutions that have identified errors in students’ records but have not yet completed the rectification process to participate.
Where applicable, the necessary Gazette publication, Gazette Receipt and Affidavit documentation should be prepared and made ready to support the formal rectification process.
“Students are strongly encouraged to ensure that their academic records are consistent with their official identification documents. Failure to rectify all issues on or before Friday the 4th of September will mean the inability of affected students to undertake their National Service this year.
“The NSA urges all affected students who have begun the process and haven’t as yet concluded with registration to act promptly and make use of this final window of opportunity,” the statement said.
The Authority cautioned students to be wary of individuals posing as NSA officials and claiming they can help resolve their biodata or registration issues for money, and advised them not to share their personal details or make payments to unauthorised persons, but to use only official channels for assistance.
