Appointments Committee To Vet Ayariga, Zanetor Today

The Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to vet two ministerial nominees today, Thursday, August 27, 2026.

The nominees are former Majority Leader, Hon. Mahama Ayariga, and Member of Parliament for Klottey Klottey Constituency, Hon. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings,

Ayariga has been designated for the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, while Zanetor has been designated for the Ministry of Environment, Science and Technology.

The vetting was announced by the Media Relations Department of Parliament.

The Committee is expected to assess the nominees’ qualifications, vision and preparedness to lead their respective ministries.
