DVLA Temporarily Closes Abuakwa Ultra Centre

The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) has announced the temporary closure of its Abuakwa Ultra Centre until further notice.

In a public notice issued on Thursday, August 20, 2026, the Authority said the closure takes immediate effect.

“The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority wishes to inform the general public that the Abuakwa Ultra Centre is temporarily closed until further notice,” the statement said.

The DVLA apologised for any inconvenience the closure may cause to customers and encouraged them to access its services at the nearest available DVLA office.

The Authority did not state a reason for the closure or when the centre is expected to reopen.
