Police Launch Manhunt Over Viral Video of Suspect Assault

The Ghana Police Service has commenced a manhunt for a man captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect.

In a statement, the Service strongly condemned the incident and said efforts have been intensified to arrest the individual and put him before court.

According to the Police, the circumstances surrounding the incident are also being investigated.

The Service added that all persons found culpable will be taken through the due process of the law.

In the said viral video, a Muslim was captured slapping the suspect, whose arrest followed his derogatory comments about Prophet Mohammed.
