2 Sentenced To 30yrs In Jail
Two armed robbers have been convicted and handed an accumulated 30 years imprisonment sentence with hard labour.
The judgement was handed over by a judge on August 3, 2022.
The two are Sumaila Nketia and Kwabena Nyameke.
Sumaila will be serving 20 years in prison while Kwabena will serve 10 years.
According to the Ghana Police Service, until their arrest, the two were on the police wanted list.
“These convicts have been on the police wanted list for multiple robberies in the Dunkwa-On-Offin municipality and its environs”, the police said in a statement.
They were arrested at Abesewa, a suburb of Dunkwa-On-Offin in the Central Region, according to the Service.
But this is not the end for them. The police disclosed that there are several robbery cases currently against them before the courts.
