2 Children Found Dead in Tamale
Two missing children at Kakpayili in Tamale in the Northern Region have been found dead in a vehicle.
The bodies of the children were found in an abandoned vehicle on Sunday, June 30, 2024, after going missing for days.
“The bodies of the children were found on 30th June 2024 in an abandoned vehicle in one of the compounds within the Kakpayili community. The children had been reported missing on 25th June 2024,” a testament released by the Ghana Police Service confirmed on Monday.
Investigations have since commenced, they said.
“The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of two children in Kakpayili, a suburb of Tamale in the Northern Region.”
The bodies have since been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
